Xuanie and David are two best friends who find it difficult to remember back to the time when they weren’t in each other’s lives. Best friends since their teens and a couple soon thereafter, they have spent the last 14 years laughing and sharing memories together. Junilo and I felt so close to these two from the first time we chatted; their friendship which grew into love was so familiar and incredibly endearing.
One of their biggest concerns in booking their wedding photography was their feelings of being 100% camera shy. Neither of them felt very comfortable in front of the lens and couldn’t remember the last time they had had their picture taken when they both liked the result. We assured them that being camera shy does not mean you don’t take a good picture! Memorable photos result when we as the Photographers put a couple at ease, focusing on the moment as opposed to the camera and allowing things to flow naturally :) Our photojournalistic photography style is for people just like these two who feel somewhat intimated by the camera!
Xuanie and David decided that they would really like to have a ‘day out’ in wine country, to escape their busy Toronto lives. As Niagara was a special anniversary destination, they thought it would be very memorable to celebrate another milestone, their engagement, in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Their session was full of joy and giggles from beginning to end; two best friends deeply in love with a long history of shared stories and memories. We finished the evening feeling so happy to be connected to a couple so committed and in love.
We cannot wait for their beautiful Toronto wedding later this summer at the gorgeous Grand Luxe Event Boutique; a celebration of two best friends beginning a new chapter of their adorable love story.
